The offer to Mr. Putin by Mr. Trump looks to me making peace.

However, we still have sanctions, and that's very important to all the players, and what happens next.

The headline in the New York Times helps me tell the story.

Oil prices slide on jitters over Trump's tariffs and OPEC increases.

You've been pointing to the OPEC increase for some time as a weapon to be used against

Mr. Putin.

It is working in combination with sanctions.

Recall that on January the 10th during the outgoing days of the Biden administration, new sanctions

were imposed on Russia, especially on 183 tankers, which were so-called shadow fleet transporting Russian oil, and on two major

Russian oil producers.

And so that immediately, for a short while, increased oil prices.

Now the oil prices are going down because, finally, we are close to April the 1st, when OPEC plus,

a combination of major oil producers, is supposed to increase its output.
