president elect, an old president, an old president-elect Donald Trump, taking office in 74 days.

What is to be expected?

I read from the Financial Times, Zelensky rejects Western demands to make concessions to Russia.

I also read from National Public Radio, saying, within the first hours after the

confirmation that the president was reelected, Mr. Zelensky made a phone call, which Mr.

Trump characterized as excellent. Michael, a very good evening to you. The sanctions regime have been

the strongest weapon the Biden administration

is used against the Russian Federation. You have chronicled for these years how the sanctions

regime has wrecked the economy of Russia so that it's turned into what it's called military

Keynesianism. The inflation is inherent in what is going on,

all defense, all for the front, all the time, manpower shortage, raising wages, subsidizing

people's property. In other words, the state is taking on a larger and larger story of the

GDP of Russia. That will take years to unwind. However, now we have

a new president in January. What can we expect about the sanctions regime? To your speculation,

good evening, Michael. Good evening to you. And we just have to look at the record that the sanction

regime started with President Obama in 2014

when this war started on a smaller scale and when Russia annexed Crimea and part of Eastern Ukraine.

And comes President Trump. He continues the sanctions.

President Trump did not lift a single sanction on Russia,

didn't ease anything on that. And then the big war starts under President Obama,
