We're going through the Cinderella story of the old testament in six weeks with two amazing characters

Ruth a Moabite gal who was widowed bow as an older wealthy affluent single guy

They fall in love get a little bad counsel from a gal named Naomi and God works it all out

So they can get married have a baby named Obed and through him would come another guy

You might have heard about his name is Jesus. You're gonna love this love story

And I thank you for your prayers

Death devastation destruction that's where the book of Ruth begins. We find its conclusion today

But death devastation destruction the book opens with a series of funerals and we see the testimony of God's people

And the book concludes today with a wedding and this is God's storyline not only for the book of Ruth

But for the totality of the scriptures all of human history and by God's grace

I hope and I trust and I pray for your life and your legacy. It starts with

tragedy and it ends with triumph. It starts with

Misery and it ends with much rejoicing

It begins in utter darkness and then the light dawns at the end

It goes from weeping to celebrating and that is the story of

Ruth that's the story of the Bible that's the story of human history and that's the story of our
