In our past episode, we began exploring the case of Gabby Petito.

The young woman whose tragic disappearance and brutal murder at the hands of her boyfriend Brian Laundry captured worldwide attention.

At this point in the case, Brian and Gabby have embarked on what sounds like the adventure of a lifetime.

A Journey Via Van.

They set out on July 2, 2021.

The couple planned to visit National Parks and document their travels on social media and

Gabby's YouTube channel, which she cleverly named Nomadic Static.

Now soon after their journey began,

Gabby started documenting their trip,

posting photos on Instagram.

In retrospect, these photos take on a haunting quality.

But at face value,

they present a young woman who looks like she's living her best life.

On the 4th of July, Gabby posed between the monument rocks in Kansas.

Four days later, Gabby stood in front of a flower mural in Colorado Springs, beaming.

An excursion to the great sand dunes followed.

Then the couple gets to Utah, to Zion National Park.
