This is the first of four episodes that she will direct for this series.

She's a writer-director.

She has a very, well, very intense, interesting story.

She wrote and directed Gas Food Lodging, which is a film I remember being a big deal in the indie world.

And then she also directs one of the four stories in that movie Four Rooms.

I remember that one, but she was one of the directors in that as well.

So she's had a very interesting career.

This is written by Darren Starr, creator of the series. Right. And we have our DVD recap.

Has New York's class system been replaced by a cast system? Miranda, the power lunch lawyer,

is unsuccessful in convincing her bartender boyfriend that class differences

are unimportant. Samantha dates a rich man with a two-faced servant and Charlotte falls for the highest

cast of all, the movie star. The power game continues between Carrie and Mr. Big as one of them

let slip the words, I love you. I think I took the most notes of any episode on this one.
