Summary
Today Emma Dotter is joined by faithful Watermark Member Brandon Pokley to talk about Psalm 68. This passage shows us more about who God is by seeing what He values. We see many elements about God's character from this psalm found in Jesus' teachings as well, as Jesus Christ is the very "image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15) and the "exact imprint of his nature" (Hebrews 1:3). As we see God rightly, the Holy Spirit transforms our character to become more like Christ and find joy in His presence.

| 0:50.3 | Thanks for having me. Brandon, glad to have you here and get to know you a little bit better. Would you mind sharing |
| 0:55.3 | what God's done in your life? Yeah. So really my story is that through my teenage and young adult |
| 1:00.4 | years, I had observed a lot of dysfunction around me. And through those years, for me personally, |
| 1:04.8 | they were marked by a lot of insecurity, escapism, and lust. And through that, I recognized |
| 1:10.3 | that I was in need of help and direction. |
| 1:13.0 | And God showed me Jesus, who offered that help. And what that looked like was threefold. |
| 1:17.9 | One, showing me that God still cared about me, despite the decisions I had made, by paying the |
| 1:22.9 | debt that I owed God for those decisions. And then also by carrying the promise that through trusting in Jesus, |
| 1:29.6 | he would actually transform me back into the God or the guy that God created me to be, which carries |
| 1:34.6 | a tremendous amount of hope. And then alongside that, I just saw that the Bible and biblical wisdom |
