This is obscure season 4 in American tragedy.

97 degrees here in Savannah.

Unfortunately, the humidity is not what it could be, even so.

I have not left the house today and do not plan on doing so until November.

We have a friend visiting us for the week, that's lovely, a friend from Connecticut, who we have been friendly with since before we moved to Connecticut.

In fact, this friend and her husband are the reason we moved to Connecticut to begin with,

because we're working on the TV show Ed and

John was a cameraman and I said hey my wife's pregnant and looking to move and he said oh come

to the wilds of Connecticut.

It's only an hour away from the city.

And I said, oh, that sounds good.

And so that's where we moved.

And the thing about John is that he lied.

It wasn't an hour from the city by any stretch of the

imagination. It was closer to two hours unless you drove 110 miles an hour at

three o'clock in the morning which is what John did so for him

It was about an hour from this city for everybody else. It was not

So well, we've got our friend visiting us and that's been lovely and she's been very good about the heat, you know? Doesn't seem to bother her. I mean it does, but she's not complaining about it. So we've just been hanging

out indoors today and you know doing indoors things. Martha made a nice big early supper, just a big salad, you know, because that's what you want to eat when it's too hot out and I've been watching

well I watched a movie that I didn't care for it all a brand new movie came out
