tragedy. I am your host, your friend, your ear lover, and literary Mansplainer in

Chief Michael Ian Black just come in from the back porch

where I was enjoying a little bit of a thunderstorm I kept waiting for the rain

to fall it did not maybe a drop or two, but the thunder was a rumbling and

nothing is better. Let me tell you something about the south, or at least the portion of the

south in which I live. the thunder here is unparalleled.

I don't know what they put in the clouds here in the south.

But when they rumble, boy, howdy, do they make a pretty sound? It's one of the unexpected

joys of living in Savannah. We get these, especially in summertime, we get these just wonderful

thunderstorms that occur often in the afternoon, often around my nap time, and I just, I love

to lay down to the sound of thunder and let it lull me to my

respite just a terrific way to enjoy one's afternoon.

So that's what I've been doing, just listening to the thunder

and then making snarky comments on Twitter

as I am want to do.

What else is going on with me? Not too much. Martha is away. She will be

gone for the next three weeks as I indicated. So it's just me and the boy and yesterday I said,

yeah I was looking for something to do you know

it was Sunday and it was just impossible to go outside because of the heat and

the humidity and so I said I just I had a little inspiration I said hey why

don't we go bowling we haven't done that in years.
