Hello friends. You find me in prep for my next guest. I am sprawled on my sunset yellow velvet sofa under my ginger cat shrimp.

Now, it might not look like it, but I am in the middle of a workout.

Brain scans apparently show that the same parts of the brain light up when you think about exercising

as when you actually do. Apparently you get the same hormonal response in your body. So right now,

I'm actually coming top five in the Hackney Half marathon. Neural circuitry is called it, this complete magic. Now, my guest

is a man who I think is secretly doing actual exercise. It is super-drawl comedian Phil Wang,

as his snug outfits on Taskmaster have proved while setting Reddit alight with intrigue.

Phil Wang is a purveyor of not one but two Netflix comedy specials. He has had a textbook comedy career president of Footlights, the Cambridge

University Comedy Club, from where he graduated not only with an engineering degree,

which hasn't been of much use, but with awards from Chortle and Comedy Central.

From then, he's done his time at the Edinburgh Fringe in which his 2019 show,

Filly Filly Fingly Wang, broke records because it sold out before the festival even started.

His last tour at the Royal Festival Hall sold out
