referendum in the offing. I went to Aberdeen to sit down with the First Minister, Nicholas Sturgeon.

When the UK voted for Brexit last June,

Nicola Sturgeon said that a second independence referendum in Scotland was highly likely.

And this week, after months of rumours, she finally confirmed that the SMP wants to hold one in either the autumn of 2018 or the following spring.
