headed to Glasgow to interview the four Scottish party leaders, Nicholas Sturgeon, Ruth Davidson, Keziad Dougdale and Willie Rennie all join me to discuss election campaigning, independence, governing Scotland and of course the tragic events in Manchester this week. Now we're live from the Glasgow Science Centre. If you can hear some background noise,

Now, many people may be wondering why we went to Scotland this week

after the horrific terror attack in Manchester on Monday night.

Now, we wanted to do a Scotland special during the election campaign

to get out of London, look at the issues that matter to Scottish voters.

We planned to go before the attack happened,

and we did talk about

a lot with our guests and my own feeling was that actually one of the strongest ways of

defying the terrorists is to carry on to stitch your plans and to do precisely what they don't

want you to do, which is to get on with life as normal.

So we felt that we shouldn't be deterred from carrying on as a result of what happened.
