Then I know technically this episode 13 of season 1 of The Wire which were in the

end of season 1 and technically this episode is called Sentencing but it could very easily

be called Chicken Coming Home to Roost or in some cases the chicken still remaining in

the same old hand they have always been in because it's amazing how this episode may

be more than some of the others that we've discussed. You feel both conclusion but also

the futility of it all and what I tried to imagine as I was watching this particular

episode is what if The Wire had ended right here? What feeling would I be left with?

And that was kind of the takeaway that I was stuck with is just how would I feel about

this series and its brilliance and what we saw in season 1 and say if this was how it

was supposed to conclude what would I think about this and I think I would walk away probably

feeling a little hopeless about how things are. I don't need happy and I'm not one of

these people who needs happy endings but you spend so much time and painstaking detail

with some of these characters that if this season had ended right here I think I would

have been feeling a little bit empty. What were some of your takeaways from Sentencing
