**JOIN US for the 2024 Art of Desire Retreat!** You can’t change what you can’t see. And Dr. Finlayson-Fife’s Art of Desire course was created to help women SEE and understand the cultural messaging that has shaped their relationships to themselves, their sexuality, and to God in both positive and negative ways.  In this NEW episode, Dr. Finlayson-Fife joins Kattie Mount of the Marriage on a Tightrope Podcast to discuss the upcoming Safely Gathered Retreat, where she will be addressing some of the limiting messages that many women have received and offering a new and expansive perspective, one that invites them to create a stronger, more sustaining relationship with themselves, their desires, and their sexuality. **Join us for a FULL DAY of learning from Dr. Finlayson-Fife on September 5th at the Safely Gathered Retreat -- Get your ticket HERE and save $10 with code JFF10!**

Hey everyone, Dr Finlays and Fife's assistant here and I just wanted to let you know that we are headed back to Hillsborough Oregon this fall for an art of desire retreats and

0:17.4

just wanted to share a little bit of my personal experience. Back in 2020 I had been feeling a little bit down in my life for a couple of years and not quite sure what to do about it, but I got myself to the Art of Desire workshop and it was transformational for me. It was pivotal. It kind of changed everything. And you know, there were maybe 60 or 70 people there. I never raised my hand, never asked a question, but I got so much from attending in person.

It felt like Jennifer was talking directly to me, and it's where everything started to change for me.

0:51.4

Yeah, well, it's interesting because I've had people that I've worked

0:54.4

with in individual coaching or that have taken the online courses and they have said to me that going

1:00.4

to a retreat was the biggest impact for them to just sit there to get away from their

1:06.2

family, work obligations, and be able to focus and then be in this kind of organic conversation that happens in these courses and these retreats.

1:16.0

I always bring the same backbone to every one of the Art of Desire events,

1:21.0

but it's very much alive and I'm in response to the group what questions

1:26.7

they have, what concerns they have. And I just absolutely love it. I see the

1:30.3

earnestness, the honesty. Not only is it this a chance to go through the content,

1:36.8

you know, be able to do it in a focused way,

1:39.4

be able to do it or you can ask questions

1:41.3

and get my input.

1:42.6

But you also get to interact with like-minded people.

1:45.6

We also have exercise classes and dance

1:48.9

and a movie night and great food and a beautiful setting. It looks like Tuscany in the United States

1:55.4

it's just really a remarkable setting so it's just there to nourish your soul and

2:00.8

help you find a deeper relationship to yourself, to your own sense of desire

2:06.0

and purpose in life as well as to your sexuality.

2:09.9

I think it's fair to say that I've completed more art of desire retreats and workshops than anyone.

2:17.2

I'm a proud 10-time graduate, but I have to say that every time is just that soul rejuvenating experience that you're talking about.
