0:00.0	Once the Zatriki and Scherer cases were linked by the Kodas hit to the same suspect,
0:04.7	Sergeant S. Owens and Detective Conroy of the Greenville Police Criminal Investigations Unit
0:09.6	contacted Master Sergeant Bud Cooper of the MSHP, who was still working the Scherer case.
0:16.5	The Portageville investigators went to Greenville to compare notes about their wildly disparate crimes,

1:17.9	to locations within a certain radius around each of Portageville and Greenville at the right times.
1:24.3	It was noted that a drive between one and the other would take a traveler right through
1:28.4	Dyersburg, Tennessee. Believe it or not, there were quite a few men who fell into this category,
1:34.3	people who had geographical connections to both regions at the time of the murders. They actually
1:39.3	found one guy who lived in Jenny's apartment complex at the time of her murder, and also lived right near
1:44.5	the sheer crime scene in 1998. That turned out to be just a coincidence. But there were plenty of
1:50.3	other men with connections to both places, and checking into them kept the task force busy.
