was the whole monkey's paw aspect of this particular political reality we're living in right now.

And I think I mentioned that it was also a lot like the Genie in the Magic Lamp problem.

I was given my one wish, but I didn't bring a lawyer.

Too many loop holes in there.

And now we have today something that in some ways completely undercuts my political philosophy.

And so I've been having a temporary crisis moment while I try to figure out

how I pivot on this, not to please you, but to somehow organize my mind.

What's that old line?

Was it Cain's Ben who said somebody accused him of flip-flopping?

And then he said, dear sir, when the facts change, I changed my mind.

Pray tell what do you do?

And so I'm always trying to incorporate

what appears to be the new sensory inputs that I'm seeing and try to match it somehow to the patterns
