Today we are here to talk about the power of creators.

And we are going to start with the tremendous success, both creatively and financially, of Ryan Cougler's Sinners.

It launched this last weekend. It did tremendous business. It was universally praised and enjoyed

and deservedly so because it is so fantastic. What a talent.

He and Michael B. Jordan deliver again.

It is a massive success,

but it has come under scrutiny for how it has been portrayed

and how it has been reported on

among the trades

and in the business sector of Hollywood.

And it's pretty unfair, and we discussed it because i think there's more to it than than just

the aspects that they've been reporting on i think it's not just the fact that ryan cougar

cut himself such a great deal it's the people who cut that deal with him. Creative executives who've actually made movies

who celebrate other creatives, other directors and producers, and who are open to favorable terms

that excite and empower creators. So it's not just Ryan Cooter, but it's the people at Warner Brothers

that cut the deal with him in the first place that people are angry with. It's so crazy.

I dig into it. I've got some extensive experience with some of these people. So I draw on that.

I share that with you today. You responded in the biggest way to our most recent X-Men episode.

It is the biggest episode we've ever done, the most engagement. It is clear that many of you

are upset, are similarly disappointed in what's going on at the X-Men office and what's

going on with Marvel. And it doesn't look it doesn't look good from around the bend.

What's coming, you know, in future months, I don't think is enough to turn the tide.
