When Richard Carno was reported missing by his wife,

the case took a shocking turn when he was found strangled to death in his car near a trailer park in Las Vegas,

a trail of evidence eventually led police to those closest to Richard, his wife and her brother, but they both would end up pointing the

finger at each other for his murder.

I am at Tom's top trailerers and he's sitting in a small green car. Richard Carno was the rock that his wife Suzanne leaned on. When they met, she had two children, he had one.

Together they adopted a son,

and by all accounts his family was everything to Richard.

But in February of 2002, he was found dead next to a trailer park.

How could the joyful life of this blended family unravel so completely?

It was a mystery that had Las Vegas written all over it. Las Vegas is known as the city of second chances.

It's a place where people come to start over again.

But it's also a place where many, many people destroy their lives.

People get enamored with the city and they end up going down a path of

self-destruction. Richard liked women but he was shy and Suzanne seems to be the kind of individual

that she will come up with a plan
