Hello, Ross. When the government made school fees liable for that,

there were fears that a lot of kids would stop going private and fewer children would get

into the state schools that they wanted. And we now have the stats for 2025 places. So what has

actually happened? Do you want to have a guess? Absolutely nothing has happened. There's been no

rise in applications for Year 7 places in state schools, despite all this noise about that being

a major risk to the state sector, about there being influx. In fact, more families got their

first choice of school than last year. So no impact at all.
