It's getting warmer out and when that happens every year my thoughts tend to turn to my younger days. I used to spend a lot of time outdoors.

So I thought, why not tell you a few things I remember about the

Sempronia Trail, get you ready for hiking season.

I want you to listen to the anecdotes I'm going to tell you tonight in the proper mindset.

So let me make something absolutely clear for everyone. I am in no way trying to dissuade you from exploring this

improney. What you need to focus on when morning comes is the gazillion websites

and magazine articles and YouTube videos and even whole books describing very accurately I assure you

the trails bevy of natural pleasures and wonders. All of the flattering descriptions are true. I did something like

700 miles on the trail over the course of 10 years. I got to be kind of an expert on it.

So let me tell you, my three little anecdotes should not for a

second prevent you from heading out there and hiking your butt off on one of this country's genuine natural treasures.
