I've got to tell you something that I feel like I've intrinsically known since I was a child

growing up in domestic violent shelters to a corporate employee, to now a life coach of 10 years.

And I absolutely recommend this book called The Happiness Advantage, which is where I saw

it just written in plain language by Sean Aikor.

He's the Harvard Happiness Professor.

episode. You'll get so many nuggets from it. But here is what he said in the happiness advantage. And I was like,

yes, fists in the end. This is what I've known all along. And he puts it so succinctly that it's like,

oh, so easy to understand. And let me tell you, my friends, my culture, sorry, our culture has got

this wrong. Look around you and see a lot

of miserable people and know that we have got this wrong, okay? The message is this, the truth

is this from his exhaustive research. Success orbits happiness, not the other way around. We've got this wonky, my friends.

We think that happiness orbits success, right? So meaning be successful, then you'll be happy.

The opposite is true. Dare I say, this is actually ancient manifestation teachings in modern language too. Right? The mindset is true. Dare I say this is actually ancient manifestation teachings in modern language

too? Right. The mindset is once I'll succeed, I'll be happy. But the research proves otherwise.

When I'm happy, I create the mindset and conditions required for success.

So we've got this formula backwards.

Happiness comes first.

Right?

Our culture teaches us that working harder leads to success.
