This message is called successful communication in marriage. Communication is the most important skill in marriage and it is a skill is something that we learn

in proverbs chapter 18 where I ask you to turn there it says a man this is

verse 20 a man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth,

from the produce of his lips he shall be filled.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue

and those who love it will eat its fruit.

And the next verse is interesting,

he who finds a wife, finds a good thing,

and obtains favor from the Lord.

And so the power of life and death

that says a man's stomach shall be satisfied

from the fruit of his mouth.

And so the fruit there means seed, it means a seed-bearing entity.

And so every word that we speak is a seed that is going to come back to us.

This is what this is saying. And when you understand the power of words and you plant good seeds, your stomach is going to be filled and you're going to have a good life. However, there are good seed and bad seed, there are life seed and death seed.

And so we have with our mouths the ability to kill people. We have with our mouths the ability

to give life to people. Now, the devil wants to use your mouth to kill

God wants to use your mouth to give life. You decide who's going to use your mouth and when my wife and I got married now this next May,

Karen and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
