Katie helper show. Yeah, I agree with you there. You would think that most communities have that knee-jerk reaction to not air the dirty laundry, but it's almost like, and I feel it is similar to what Jill Philippovic was trying to say about Kamala Harris, where she said,

keep in mind because she's black woman, she has to show that she's not exercising favoritism.

So that's what she has to actually go against black people harder and

it's like that's actually a terrible endorsement because she's got the same

conflict as a black female president like right that's almost a reason not to give her power because I don't want to give somebody power who thinks that they have to use that.

Have to make an example of black people. That's right. Yeah.

Like, KRS1 writes the song about a black cop.

Oh yeah, yeah.

Like a black cop is gonna be meaner to his own community in showing out for like the white power structure or like a lady cop is

gonna be meaner than a male cop because she's got to be tough.

There's a difference between understanding where something comes from

and embracing it as the way to do it, right?

Like, we can understand.

And the other thing is, like, there are black women

who don't do what Kamal Harris did.

Yeah, exactly.

Like really I think fetishizing and and fantasizing about it.

Like how could why not pick a black woman who hasn't is not a prosecuting attorney?
