And yeah, we're trying to figure out for 10 minutes before we hit record what we're going to talk about because it's kind of a dull period in technology right now well maybe it's not dull in technology maybe we're the dull ones well you ever

considered that never not even not even one time we're turning into jaded old men is what we are

and everything we got everything that comes out, we go, meh.

Bah!

We like Statler and Waldorf.

You know, I keep jumping on Reddit looking at old tech stuff.

I think it's figured out that I like to look at that, so it shows me that all the time.

Not that I want to go out and buy some old tech, I don't.

I don't have room for it. I don't have anything that I need per se. But there are a couple old Macs out there. I'm like, ooh, that would be cool on my shelf, except I don't have a shelf to put some giant old beige Mac on. And then my mind immediately goes to I would want to, you know, know modify it put an iPad screen saver thing in there something like that yeah because that's what else you're going to do

with an old Mac play retro games maybe yeah yeah I mean you could set it up like you used to

be in the day and marvel at the things it did and didn't do, I guess.

That's what some people do.

The reality, of course, is that using really old technology, even if it works perfectly well, which a lot of them don't,

because capacitors wear out and batteries wear out and all of that sort of thing. The reality is using old computers is a pain

their neck because they don't have any of the modern conveniences we kind of take for granted now.

Connectivity is hard. They often require special devices and ports that are no longer available.

They're dog slow because everything was dog slow back then compared to what we have now.
