So what is the Trump doctrine?

That's the question that we're going to go over today because as we listen to Trump,

talk about everything from Canada to Greenland, to Panama Canal, to trade wars, to the cartels in Mexico.

What we see is a very, very different U.S. foreign policy starting to emerge from anything that we've seen in, well, maybe ever in U.S. foreign policy, but certainly

quite a few decades. And it actually poses some really interesting questions. And so what we're

going to do today is we're going to talk about some of the most popular foreign policies throughout

time. We're going to briefly go over what we're talking about when it comes to, you know, Wilsonism versus neoconservatism versus Bismarck versus expansionism, colonialism.

And we're going to talk about how the Trump doctrine seems to differ from those. And we're

going to use very, very specific examples with things like the question of Greenland, the question

of the Panama Canal. And we're going to talk about the various ways that the Trump doctrine might be able to be defined and applied.

And then, just for fun, we're going to engage in wild speculation.

That's right.

Something that we typically don't like to do on this channel, but quite frankly, we just thought it would be fun,

to decide,

like, what would it be like if the United States decided to go full American Warhammer 40,000,

right? What happens if America just says, screw it? We're in charge now. We got the biggest economy,

the biggest military. It is time to go full American Imperium. What would that look like?

So that will be our fun discussion at the end that

you're definitely not going to want to miss. But we're going to get to all of that and more coming
