Again, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, but other than that, a reasonably good guy.

And as you can see, I'm not in the studio because I'm down in Richmond for legislative session.

And I thought, who better to talk to than another guy that is also stuck in the legislature,

Senator Mark Wayne Mullen from the great state of Oklahoma.

And if you're not already following them on social media, you need to for a variety of reasons.

And I hope we're going to have some time to talk about some other things with just being a family

man and UFC and all that. But the most recent reason is the exchange that he had in the Senate confirmation hearings

with Pete Hegset because let's just say the senator here said a lot of things that needed to be

said. But I want to get into that a little bit more during this episode. So first and foremost,

Senator, thank you very much for being here.

Nick, good to be on your show finally. Yeah. Hey, can you get me on? I mean, I, I mean, look, us, we got so much in common. We're good looking guys. We got beard. We got white shirts on.

We went 180 degrees in our life and went from a life that was actually full of fun and

thrilled to hanging around a bunch of old guys.

Yeah.

Well, that is the funny thing.

I tell people, like, I'm 45, so I'm middle-aged everywhere except politics.

Politics, like I'm a newborn.

I'm 47 years old, and I'm one of the

youngest in the chamber. I'm like, that doesn't happen to me that much, but I'm like, I'm considered
