And yes, folks, at the time they matter. Brand new week here after a

sleepy holiday weekend or if you are in Congress, a holiday two and a half weeks that is

still going on. Obviously, the big story over the week, politically at least, obviously the death of the Pope is the big

story, but politically is the Supreme Court decision demanding that Trump not deport

Venezuelan gang members giving them full due process while saying they don't. Of course, only Alito and Thomas

dissent. None of Trump's three appointees did. So we're going to get into the specifics

of that with Josh Hammer, our friend legal analyst, coming up.

But folks, I want to zoom out first more fundamentally.

If we're in a situation where the single biggest promise of this administration, mass deportations,

is going to be thrown out by the courts, and the courts rule over everything.

And then, of course, economically, we do nothing.

Congress is now going to work on their stupid bill.

Tariffs is the big thing, which we'll get all the worst parts of it, won't even get the better parts.

What is the plan in conservative media for the long term? And I don't mean 20, 30 year windows. I mean two to four years. What is the plan? Everyone's like, oh my gosh,

at least we defeated Kamala Harris. Okay. But what if you get AOC in a few years?

Then what are you going to do?

If you're not building anything now on any issue, ending judicial supremacism, bulking up the red states, what is it we're fighting for?
