Tonight's talk is on living in the tradition of the revolutionary Buddha.

I hope it makes sense. You'll have to determine that. Many of the

Buddha's teachings of course set him far apart from other spiritual teachers and paths of his time.

The Buddha viewed karma not as predetermined but

alterable by one's actions.

Whereas in Janeism and Hinduism and Brahminism,

one's karma was largely set by events that happened before one's birth.

Impossible to change the destined outcome, but for the Buddha, life was determined by our actions, and that's one of the five reflections that all that we really have are the choices we make, the actions we undertake,
