Summary

One of the biggest reasons for the birth rate nosedive is that people no longer hear the positive arguments for having kids.

All they hear is the constant societal push for "freedom" being the ultimate virtue. It's led to a culture of hyper-individualism, where having kids makes absolutely no sense, because kids necessarily infringe on your freedom.

In this episode, Jeremy is joined by Tyler Graham to make the case for fatherhood from 3 different angles:

1. The Benefits for You

2. The Benefits For Your Family/Business/Marriage

3. Your Duty To Have Kids

Dive in, and remember that one of the major ways you can impact your own kids and community is by constantly telling and showing everyone how great fatherhood and motherhood truly is.

On this episode, we talk about:

But it doesn't start that way.

It starts in a very, very precious place where they're just trusting and we're like, I just want to have a relationship with you.

Tyler, thanks for jumping on here today.

0:50.3

Yeah, thanks for having me, Jeremy. Good to be back.

0:52.3

Yeah. So Tyler and I both share a passion for fatherhood and really understand like why it's

1:01.0

valuable.

1:02.4

And so I'm always interested in what is a way to make this case for those who are kind of like looking at it saying,

1:11.9

why would I ever try something like that?

1:14.5

So I'm excited to dive in.

1:16.8

I've got a few clips I wanted to chat with Tyler about.

1:19.1

But before we get started, Tyler, I'd love to hear just like, yeah,

1:23.7

what do you generally say or what do you,

1:26.5

what's your kind of sense of why would, why is fatherhood worth it when you think about like, especially on this side of having all the kids?

1:35.9

Yeah. So for those listening, I've got six kids. They're all 10 and under. So our life is very full, very centered around having kids and building a large family.

1:48.0

And the thing that I always say to people who either are just entering into fatherhood or maybe

1:53.5

they're thinking about entering into fatherhood is that there is no aspect of my life that hasn't

2:00.2

gotten better with kids. There is not a single aspect of my life that hasn't gotten better with kids.
