Despite the chilly winter weather, I and my friend, Jimmy Aiken, had experienced the most productive January.

After hunting down the infamous Priory of Sion, we disentangled several ancient mysteries

looked into baffling medical cases and solved the assassination of a high government official in Italy,

who knew what adventure would come our way next.

And so on the first Friday of February in the year of our Lord 2020, I called on my friend.

I found Jimmy Aiken sitting in his study, organizing his electronic files and

smoking the curved briar pipe that was the companion of his thoughtful hours.

Oh, there you are, Betnelli, he said, you're just in time.

What have I four I queried? For a case that has baffled the breadest minds of our generation.
