All through history, God has made Himself known to mankind,

such as through the prophets and biblical times.

But after the Bible, something changed in the way God makes Himself known.

Some Christians say that the age of prophecy is over,

and God no longer gives revelations at all.

But most Christians have recognized that He still does and has done all the way down through the

centuries. Yet we shouldn't believe it every time someone claims they've had a revelation from God.

So how can we tell which revelations are credible and which aren't?

How does the church look at the matter?

And what does it mean when the church approves an apparition?
