We'll discuss how training our mouths to speak positive and loving words can transform our relationships.

We'll dive into the three laws of sewing and reaping. You reap what you sew, you reap much more than

what you sew, and there's a delay between sewing and reaping. We'll also emphasize the importance

of speaking positive words over our children and how spouses can

speak the truth and love trusting the Holy Spirit to do the rest. We'll wrap up

with a call to surrender to Jesus. Let's get started. Training your mouth for marriage, this is Proverbs 18, beginning in verse 20.

A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth from the produce of his lips he shall

be filled death in life or in the power of the tongue and those who love it will

eat its fruit he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the

Lord. It's interesting to me that those verses go together. It's talking about

a man is going to eat from his mouth. Whatever you say is going to have more of a profound impact

on your life than what you do. And what you do is very important, but our mouths have

a disproportionate influence over our lives and it literally says the power of life and death is in our mouth and I know

that's a true statement because I killed Karen in the first three years of our marriage.

And I killed our marriage, I killed her heart with my mouth, but the same mouth that killed

her brought her back to life.

And so the, when God changed me, and so the power of life and death is in our mouth, but it says,

he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor with the

Lord.
