On July 18, 2018, a young woman made the decision to go on a run,

and in doing so, I knowingly placed herself in the direct path of a dangerous individual.

So if you like your coffee hot but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a

morning cup of murder.

Molly Cecilia Tibbitts, born May 8, 1998, lived with her mother Laura and father Rob in San Francisco, California.

When she was in the second grade, her parents divorced, and she moved to Iowa to live with her mother and siblings. Their father

kept a close relationship with his children, and according to the sources, last saw Molly at his

wedding in June of 2018, about a month before tragedy struck the Tibbitts family. Around the time

her story takes place, Molly, a resident of Brooklyn, Iowa,

was a psychology major at the University of Iowa and was working at a Children's Day Camp

at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center while preparing for her upcoming sophomore year in school.

On July 18, 2018, Molly, a former cross-country runner, left the home of her

boyfriend and went for an evening jog. Last scene at approximately 7.30 p.m., when she did not

show up that night or the following day for work, her family reported her missing.

According to the police, Molly's last confirmed communication was with her boyfriend shortly before leaving for her run.

But, though she was at his home, he himself was out of town for work over 130 miles away.
