The difficult people in your life are a catalyst for change.

In this podcast, Eckhart explains,

once we accept that life is here to challenge us,

we can let go of our resistance. He believes when adversity shows

up including the difficult people in our lives, we should recognize them as a

catalyst for change. Eckhart says no one can act beyond their level of consciousness and when we expect others to be more

aware than they are it is a recipe for suffering.

Eckhart admits we will all experience conflict in relationships with family, friends, and colleagues.

He reiterates that life is not here to make us happy, it's here to help us awaken. He says no one awakens in their

comfort zone. He explains when difficulties arise surrender because it's the quickest path to peace and

enlightenment.

You will be challenged by the things of the world,

and that could be other people. The most difficult people in

your life are your teachers when you suddenly realize the world is here to

challenge me so that I awaken to the deeper dimension of who I am, then you can recognize

that especially the difficult people in your life and the biggest challenges, which could be of other kinds too.

There can be physical challenges, the body, there can be financial challenges,

challenges of relationships, challenges of great loss,

upheavals on a personal level, upheavals on a collective level that you are part of. We had this pandemic that affected

millions and millions of people in different ways, some more

challenges than others,

challenge is coming towards us.
