Stewardship, then, is not just a focus on money or material things, but also encompasses every spiritual blessing. In this study, making the most of all God

has given, Scott Pauley teaches biblical principles for Christian stewardship. One day, we will meet God

and give an account of how we have handled all of the resources he has put in our hands. Let's listen intently to learn how God expects us to steward his resources.

We've come now in our study of the three ships of stewardship to the third.

We've discussed the fellowship of stewardship, that is a recognition

of the church and who we're connected to and how responsible we are for those God has put us

in connection with. And then we've discussed the worship of stewardship, which is a recognition

of who God is and his

grace in our lives and our response to that. Now we come to the discipleship of stewardship.

I think this is one that is sorely neglected because, again, as a general rule, when we talk

about stewardship, people are thinking about

tangible things but a real stewardship is not about things it's about people the the greatest thing

you leave behind when you leave this world is not money or lands or a house.

People think of that as their great inheritance,

but the greatest thing you leave behind is a heritage,

a heritage that others will follow in,

trained laborers, other new believers,

training your own replacements.

And when you talk about discipleship, immediately people's minds go to some program, but this is not a program.

It's your whole life.

It's not a series of lessons.
