Welcome to another episode of Why You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast.

And today, I'm pleased to introduce to you Carrot Top, the legend, and not just

carrot top, but really the disrespect of Carrot Top that he has received throughout his illustrious career spanning essentially 40 years.

This man has been around and is a, you know, a staple of Vegas comedy, but is also just a punching bag.

He's a punchline for so much material of what would be considered hack comedy.

And I don't think it's warranted. We've done episodes that have kind of circled around this in the

past. Dane Cook, we kind of had the opinion of like, this guy got beat up so much, but he was

massive for a time. The amazing Jonathan, we kind of did that.

I had that discussion a little bit.

And as I was going through Carrot Top, I was going to originally just do, as we often do,

kind of the life and career of Carrot Top.

And then as I was watching interviews with him, the angle I found more

interesting is just the flat out disrespect he's gotten throughout his illustrious comedy career.
