It's my pleasure to introduce Professor Sacho Gallen from the College of Europe in Europe in Beroge.

College of Europe is providing education to future civil servants among others.

And she's had a distinguished career in various places in Europe,

including starting in the Netherlands and working slowly towards Belgium,

via Italy and the UK and the US.

So she's come as somebody who's an expert in understanding how the European Union works.

And she's going to give us an insight into some of the issues that she now sees Europe places.

Thank you very much for the invitation of a very kind and generous introduction.

So I will be presenting to you a paper that I think was also circulated,

no matter of having to tell yet, which is on the European Pillar of Social Rights.

The paper is still very much not working progress, as is the pillar actually.

I'll be very interested to get your critical feedback on what I'm presenting.

It will help me improve this paper.

So the paper, as well as the presentation, will firstly analyze the content of this European

Pillar Social Rights. By the way, Rachel Hamm, you have already told a little bit about this to social rights.

I'll imagine Professor Katta Marlava path.

Okay, so I will explain to you what it is, which is actually more difficult than there.

And then I will try to put it into perspective, into a broader EU law perspective.

So the structure of the presentation, I cannot show you, but I will tell you, is that I will first

look at famous content in a strict sense and then in a broader sense, then I will first look at PILA's content in a strict sense and then in a broader sense,

then I will look at its main amplitudes.
