1:08.5 | We are going to travel back to the 14th century, also known as the 1300s, and we are going to find out what life was like in that century. |
1:18.5 | I have picked three incredible players to help me explore that century. We are all going to do that together. Let me introduce them for you. |
1:29.0 | He is the publisher at Pizzo and a great friend of the nation. Mr. Eric Mona. Hi! Hi everybody. Thanks for having me, Jared. |
1:39.0 | You are very welcome. Thank you for being here. You might remember him from stream of blood. He is the man who sat in my living room the other night to watch my kids. |
1:47.5 | I could go to stand up comedy and he is also a brilliant role player and helps me write all of my scenarios. Mr. Clinton trucks. |
1:56.5 | It is me, Clint. Hey Jared, it was nice to watch your sleeping children. Just stand over them breathing. |
2:02.5 | We are friends in real life. Isn't that exciting, you guys? Clint, you actually didn't. You only helped me to come up with the characters for this scenario because you are playing in it. |
2:12.5 | You didn't actually help me write this one. I did study the history. I feel like I know everything is going to happen. |
2:18.5 | You did you really? You studied it? No, I did not. |
2:23.5 | If you did, that is okay. Finally, the nation knows him. They love him. We are so happy that we get to play a game with him. |
2:31.5 | Mr. Matthew, what's up, what's up, buddy? How are you doing? Thanks for having me. Great to get to play again. Yes, I'm so happy we get to play together again. This is going to be a unique role playing experience. |
2:44.5 | First off, GURPS. Some people might not be familiar with it. I know that some of our players aren't super familiar with it. We are going to go slow tonight. |
2:53.5 | The nice thing about GURPS is, even though it has hundreds of rules you can use, the core mechanic is pretty simple. Each of our players has chosen a character. They are going to be trying to roll under on 3d6. |
3:07.5 | If they have a stat of 10 and something, they are just rolling 3d6 and trying to roll under that. That's the basic mechanic to keep in mind, NASH. If you are trying to follow what's going on, that's what all of the roles are going to be. |
3:23.5 | Here I am. I've launched straight into the rules. We should have taken some more time to get to know each other and have hilarious wacky banter together. Well, I'll ask this. How much do you guys know about the 14th century? That's a good question. |
3:39.5 | Does anybody know anything about the 14th century? |
