So last week you all met a ships captain or an acting captain anyway but we'll get to that.

But I just started thinking about fictional ships captains and I thought maybe we should talk about this.

Who might be your favorite or at least favorite today, preferences change, etc.

Who is your favorite fictional ships captain?

Not necessarily a space captain, any ship is fine, any kind of boat.

And I'm not to clarify, I'm not asking who you think is the best because I think that topic has been adequately covered by a recent Seth Skorkowski YouTube video.

So just let's go with favorite. Who do you all like?

That's such an evil question.

It's like asking for it.

When I pose these questions I'll often direct it at someone specific instead of waiting for the like five seconds of awkward silence until someone reluctantly volunteers to give you information you asked for.

Well, it's your favorite chips captain.

Why?

I actually really really like.

Well, I like Jack Aubrey from the master and commander stuff as just as a ship captain he sort of the prototype.

Like the prototype that even like Starfleet should aspire to.

I love that movie. It seems to be getting kind of a renaissance lately in people's minds, which is great.

But I'm also loving.

I think it's a great character and he's crushing it in his performance.

I think like if there's a couple more seasons, I think you could very well like top the entire list.

Yeah, I agree. I have similar pains. But I know why do I feel this way? I'm not quite sure.
