ROMANS 1:15 - So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

0:21.4	study of the book of Romans. We're going to be in Romans chapter 1 looking at verses 15 through 17.

1:00.0	Okay, before we dive into Romans chapter one, we really need to pray because we need God to reveal to us the meaning of the passage that we read today.
1:10.0	So Lord, we ask you to give us insight, open our hearts and open our minds to understand your word.
1:16.4	You are alive and well today and you have the ability to guide us and to illuminate our understanding. So we ask you to do that in Jesus name,
1:25.4	Amen. All right, get out your Bibles again. We're at Romans chapter 1 verse number 15 and the
1:31.7	Apostle Paul has been telling these believers in Jesus Christ
1:36.9	that he is eager to come and see them, even though he's a Jew, and they are not, even though he is one who has placed his faith in Jesus
1:45.2	Christ, and some of them have, maybe some of them have not, but he is eager to come and
1:51.0	tell them the significance of this gospel that he preaches.
1:55.0	verse 15 he says, so I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
2:02.0	For I am not ashamed. also who are in Rome.
2:03.5	For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
