Hi, everyone. I'm Dave Butler. And I'm Grace Freeman. Welcome to Don't Miss this. Our weekly

scripture study class. Y'all, we have a glow up. Same class, new room. Hopefully you like our

new fun set to start a new year. If you are new to don't miss this, we move through the scriptures

and we teach a little class here. And it's

every single week. It'll drop every single Monday on YouTube and on podcast. And we talk about

things in that section of the Come Follow Me curriculum. So we'll follow that schedule. And you're

going to find things that we think you don't want to miss. So if you miss being in an institute

class or a seminary class, that's what you get every single week. Sit down and study and write out notes in your

scriptures and all of that. Or you can just be on a walk and then when you get home, you can

write down some of the things that you remember. So we're so happy that you are here. We have

people listening from all over the world of all different ages. So it feels like

one big happy family. So we're so happy that you're here. This year, we're in the doctrine and

covenants and church history. I don't know what they say in the book. That's what they say,

both of those together. But they go really well together because the doctrine and covenants is the

one book of scripture. Well, I'm going to

take that back. I was about to say it's the only book of scripture that doesn't have the storyline

in it. But the second half of the New Testament also doesn't, except for the book of Acts, right?

So what you need in the second half of the New Testament is the book of Acts to give you the storyline,

and then you have the letters. The doctrine covenants is sort of just like the letters of Acts to give you the storyline and then you have the letters. The Doctor in Covenants
