What a night. It was a very long, I thought very enjoyable Academy Awards. The headline,

Anora went home with five Oscars, Sean Baker, individually with four.

Best Picture, Director, Original Screenplay, and Editing.

The Big Surprise, Mikey Madison winning Best Actress. We also saw multiple wins for Amelia Perez and The Brutalist.

What should we start with, guys?

I feel like Mikey Madison was the biggest surprise of the night. Yeah. My jaw actually dropped while you were sitting there. I witnessed it. Which at that point, I guess I should have

known. You know, we saw Anor win every other category on its way there that it was nominated for except supporting actors.

So it felt like it shouldn't have been a surprise.

But I really thought after SAG that Demi had that locked up.

Yeah.

And I think that if obviously, like I're aaborosov not winning, it meant that the

Academy voters were willing to spread the wealth a little bit and give it to Karen Culkin,
