don't have access to clean water. Right now, there's a landmark bill in Congress that could change

this, but it took more than 150 years

to get here.

and it reveals the history of oppression and exclusion that led the Navajo to this point

and why their future is still uncertain.

I'm driving on the very edge of the Navajo Nation Reservation in Arizona.

I-40 runs all the way along the southern boundary, right through the town of Winslow.

The one thing that people know about Winslow

is the band, the Eagles.

So they have a line in one of their songs

where he says,

I'm standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona,

in such a non-side to see.

We know Winslow as a border town,

even though it's not between countries or even between states.
