On the surface I totally get it, but when I think of trust, it's not just a warm and fuzzy concept it's actually one of those things that can be a

critical aspect of leadership. In fact it's an asset that can make or break a team or an organization.

And while the importance of it seems obvious in some ways, it feels intangible,

and you only really understand it, when you lose it. That's exactly right because we

assume it. We assume that we assume that people trust us whether we trust them

or not. But we all know what it feels like to lose the trust of another person.

And it's a desperate feeling because once it's gone, what do you do to get it back?
