Monsoon and welcome to Hi Jinks, a podcast where I, an internationally tolerated drag superstar,

get to interview compelling and fascinating people about how they became who they are and why

they do what they do. Today we are joined by actress comedian writer activist and one of my favorite

witches, Kathy Najimi. Hi Kathy. Hi Jinks. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm so excited to see you. You

know that I'm not a fan of a lot of people and I'm such a fan of yours. Oh thank you so much.

We have crossed paths so many times serendipitously. I think most notably was the first time we met

which was on a gay cruise. I was doing my one person show and just going to get off the next day

because you know how sometimes they just fly you there and you do your show and then you get

off at the next port and I somebody said oh before you go later tonight you've got to go see

this show and I was like okay and I went and my mind was blown and I have to tell you I am a tough

audience like I never liked anything. I want to like things and I loved it so much and I said I

must meet this person and did we bump into each other like starboard or like star where did we

meet? Did we were we at the prize or where were we? Oh so first we met backstage but then we ran

into each other you and Missy Pyle were we're roaming around the ship together and the three of us
