In 2019, Evelyn Boswell (15 months) was seen alive for the last time, reportedly by a babysitter in Blountville, Tennessee.

Evelyn was not reported missing until February 2020.   Her grandfather raised the alarm after he said he had not seen the child since Thanksgiving.

Authorities started investigating and zeroed in on Evelyn’s mother, Megan ‘Maggie’ Boswell.   Megan gave varying accounts of where the child was and repeatedly lied to law enforcement.

In March 2020, Evelyn’s tiny body was found with her head wrapped in aluminum foil.   She had been stuffed into a trash can and discarded like waste.

Megan would be arrested and charged with Evelyn’s murder.   Now, five years later, Megan’s trial has just concluded and she has been found guilty of killing her daughter.

Thank you. What's up, guys, welcome back to the True Crime Society podcast with Stephanie and Olivia. It is February 20th right now. See, like February's already almost over. Yes, it is short, but like we're already on day 20th February.

0:47.0

That's crazy because it's only like a few days shorter than most months, but it does seem to fly by really extra quick just because you know it's, you know,

0:54.5

you get that little bit off of the month.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to winter ending here, even though everything's like,

1:03.9

oh, March is still going to be wintry.

1:05.8

The groundhogs are saying it's going to be winter forever.

1:10.9

Everything's saying it's going to be winter forever, but I'm sick of it.

1:13.6

I'm so sick of it.

1:15.1

I always say I like winter through the holiday time when it feels appropriate.

1:20.6

But then January, February, and March hit or miss are just so gray, cold, boring, miserable. We've gotten like, more snow than we

1:32.9

have the last couple of years. We haven't had any huge storms where we've gotten more than like

1:37.9

four inches, but we've had a lot of ice storms and just it's been so cold. My driveway, there was

1:43.9

one storm recently where it was like icing and then it rained a lot. And then it's been so cold. My driveway, there was one storm recently where it was like

1:46.2

icing and then it rained a lot and then overnight it froze. So we tried to get as much

1:52.1

off the driveway as we could, but it was hard because it was literally just water like it was raining

1:56.5

and it all froze. So now my driveway is just solid ice.

2:01.3

We've tried, like, you can't shovel it.

2:03.6

So we tried, like, chipping away at it.

2:05.4

We've salted it.
