Hey Jimmy,

Paddy-Dom. Throughout history, there have been many reports of miracles.

For believers, they strengthen their faith in God, but skeptics routinely dismiss them.

The church's attitude toward miracles is cautious.

It recognizes that sometimes what looks like a miracle actually has a natural cause,

and sometimes it's even due to hoax and trickery.

So when miracles are reported, the church may do a careful, scientific and theological

investigation of what happened and whether it was genuinely miraculous.

And the church has certified certain miracles such as healings as being authentic but

skeptics still dismiss these. What other charges they frequently make is if

God does genuine miracles why doesn't he ever regrow somebody's limb? Why doesn't he take someone

who doesn't have an arm or a leg and give them one? That's something that never happens.

Is that true? Is it really the case that God never regrows a limb?

Or is that something that happens after all?
