Now the issue of how to make the outdoors a more inclusive space has become a hot topic in recent years.

One group which is becoming increasingly popular in Scotland is outdoor lads,

a charity aimed at improving the mental and physical well-being of gay, bisexual and trans men.

Now, it invites its members to try out a whole host of fun, outdoor pursuits across the UK and abroad.

I was invited along to a walk near Greenock to speak to some of the most active members of the organisation.

Scottish coordinator, Alan Dunn,

began by telling me how

first got going.
