Welcome to the disciples journal. I'm your host Darren Starks and in this episode I really want to get into this process I've been on of

relearning on a deeper level the gospel the good news of Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross, which is something that you may have heard of or even think you're pretty familiar with, but I've had to challenge myself recently and ask, is it something that I truly understand? Like have eye graphs, why Jesus had to die,

Like after a come in contact with this truth and this message what is my life

now supposed to look like and it may be interesting that I use this phrase

proper response but understanding what my proper response is supposed to be means a lot to me because of this.

I don't know if you've ever, you probably have been in a room event or conference and let's say someone's being introduced to the stage and everyone around you

stand. You may have not caught the memo or you were just late to get to your feet

not locked in but eventually you picked up on the context clues and you stood. And naturally for me this happened a lot whenever

I was younger as I was just being introduced to new environments. But as I got older, depending

on the context where I was and who was present I really began to learn what the proper response was for different situations.

So for example, I've never actually been in this situation before but in every TV show or movie that I've ever

watched when a president steps into a room you stand.

Why?

Because that's a proper sign of respect for whenever they step into an environment.

Or if you ever been to a poetry slam or a spoken word night,

Or if you ever been at a concert and that talents act is over, I mean, a lot of people do different stuff.
