This week we're on a journey along the route of the River Tay, Scotland's longest river.

Now in a previous podcast we started off in Kalen and made our way down to Locte via Ben Lournes.

Now we're in Kenmore.

When I woke up this morning there was quite a lot of rain and clag and the cloud was right down in the deck

and as I said earlier today the whole thing lifted and the sun was shining and it looked wonderful

and it still looks wonderful but there is a snell blast pouring straight down the lock more or less into our faces

we're sitting at the kenmore end of Lock-Tay,

with Claire Hewitt, storyteller.

Despite the fact that there is a snail blast,

this is a magnificent place.

I mean, it must be really inspiring for a storyteller.

Oh, yes, and that's, I think, that's why I am a storyteller,

because of the landscape here, and that's, I think that's why I am a storyteller because of the landscape here

and the stories that are connected to the people who lived here,

the place, and it's a land that is full.
