Finished with her, they began stabbing her body before fleeing the area.

The girl remarkably survived her harrowing ordeal, but Thomas did not.

Months later, on January 3, 1981, Anthony and Nathaniel picked up a 19-year-old hitchhiker named Connie Sue Thompson.
